Our Sedation Options Include:

  • Nitrous Oxide (N2O)
    For patients with mild to moderate dental anxiety, nitrous oxide, or “laughing gas,” offers a safe and effective way to stay calm. This gas is administered through a cushioned nose piece, allowing you to relax during your procedure. Afterward, you’ll breathe 100% oxygen, bringing you back to a normal state so you can safely drive home. This is an ideal solution for those with work or other obligations following their appointment.

  • Oral Sedation
    For patients with moderate to severe dental anxiety, Dr. Rabalais can prescribe oral sedation pills. These help you stay calm and relaxed throughout the procedure, often inducing a light, sleep-like state. Since oral sedation has a stronger effect, a driver is required to bring you to and from your appointment, ensuring your safety and comfort.
